Every state has submitted a single slate of official certified electoral votes. Those are the only ones that matter and the only ones that will be counted, by law, in Congress. Every Elector has cast their ballot in accordance with the results of the elections in their state.

The other "alternate electors" are just a P.R. stunt with zero credibility or legitimacy. They are not sanctioned by any full governing body in any state. They will be summarily rejected by Congress, as they should be.

You need to go back to U.S. Government class.
Coprrect and those were Dem electors.

Until it starts to work against our chosen politician, then we throw fits of fantasy and try to undermine it LOL....like the Dems have done since Bush/Gore.

Funny how some on the right are becoming/acting exactly like the thing they've spend so many years decrying.
Really, show me one example from 2016 that even compares to this year

So Dems and GOP both files seperate electors in those 4 swing states...unprecidended

Well, only one group will have the backing of their state, but putting that aside, it will be interesting to see what the GOP senators do. Given his statement this morning, McConnell will be hard pressed to make a move to only accept the electors for trump from those states. It's being reported that he, along with some other republican senators, are starting to press their members to not object because it'd trigger a vote and he knows there are enough R senators who wont support the move and that it'd place the party in the position of appearing anti Trump.

There has been some speculation that the VP could try something, but most of the stuff i've read said that the law limits the VP to opening and overseeing the counting. But who knows.

How do you see it playing out?

The GOP is those swing states certified first. The Dems did also as a ****bird move to "not take any chances" (Their words). So this seems like some more 4 D chess and I dont play chess.
Wait n see, maybe nothing happens.
