I think it's going to come down to a bunch of legal BS on what constitutes whether there's a barrier, what constitutes a barrier, the definition of an establishment serving alcohol, the type of alcohol, whether carrying an unloaded and cased rifle is actually considered legally carrying, etc., etc. ad nauseum.

And all of it could have absolutely been avoided. :nolike:

I'm betting that the portion of Wilshire Gun that serves alcohol is a separately licensed business entity (ABLE is picky about that, aren't they?). There is a physical barrier and alcohol is not served anywhere else on the premises.

The bar at Twin Peaks is integral to the establishment and alcohol is served everywhere on the premises, not just the bar.

Even still, IMHO, the Wilshire Gun argument is a red herring and has nothing to do with whether or not it is illegal to carry a firearm into a place where alcohol is consumed and whether or not Harper violated that law. Whether or not the law should be applied to Wilshire Gun is a question for the AG and the business owners to take a look at.

Type of alcohol wouldn't be relevant anymore, after 2018, you have one license instead of two. ABLE never issued the low point beer licenses, the OTC did I believe. ABLE WAS very picky on partitions between a bar and the rest of the premises in terms of restaurants that serve alcohol, but those lines turned gray.

Broke and his attorney dying didn’t help much either.

I’ve never been to Twin Peaks, but I’ve been told it’s a competitor to Hooters. The customers are mostly male and the attraction is drink, the gals working there and sports. I was curious about the place till I heard about the biker shootout at the one in Texas.

and the waitress using the CC card skimmer in Okc.

Not a place I want to visit.
I go to Peaks often for a beer and an awesome Ribeye steak. It's kinda Kool there. The place has 85 70" TV's so football, a beer and a steak is nice on Sunday afternoon.
