you know i just read alot of the comments but not all on this post. first i don't know the guy, haven't seen any of his videos but if a man was doing nothing wrong then get arrested, i cant wait for some of you so called "2A" people get arrested for doing something within the law. The whining that is going on is nauseating. This is a scare tactic from okc police and DA cause they do not want permit-less carry. all because you do not want to carry a rifle openly does not mean you have a right to force someone else to do as you do. The chicken little screaming on this post is proof we need to kill off most of the population of state, cause the fair weather supporters do more damage than any MDA or Bloomberg supporter can do.

Well, perhaps you should have read ALL the comments. Consensus seems to be that he was carrying a rifle in a place that serves alcohol, which is a crime, according to the way the statutes are written. Thus, if true, he WAS doing something wrong.

seems like it's been established that there is a good chance he was doing something wrong (at least in terms of how the law is written). And, historically speaking, it is pretty well established that states have the ability to limit (or open) certain areas when it comes to firearms. Plus, it's not really a matter of whether you like people who carry rifles openly, but WHERE he was carrying it (i.e. a place prohibited by law)

Why not for a nonviolent offender that has served their punishment?

I do understand the rules of a security clearance. I've had one and gone through multiple training sessions about how a foreign governments can get you on the hook like all with security clearances have to do.
Once all your non violent bad issues are behind you that hook no longer gets set unless one creates new ones.
It's no different than some guy that works for Tinker selling drugs on the side that hasn't been caught yet that could be put on the hook and reeled in.
I'm all in favor of restoring the right to vote and own firearms once you have served your time for nonviolent offenses.
You have paid your debt to society, and you deserve the right to return to said society with full rights.

private prisons are big business. Big business means money for lobbyists. Lobbyists appeal to the politicians who know that no one lost for being 'tough on crime'. More laws, more crimes, more criminals, more profits.

The 3 strikes your out law Passes by Reagan I believe has caused so much wrong.in the Justice system. It's no longer about public safety, its about locking people up that we are simply mad at who are not any threat to society....for profit.

So you haven't read the law, haven't seen the videos...... but made an informed decision.... and want to kill off most of the state with an opinion formed from admitted ignorance?

You should be better informed before chiming in 26 pages later...Harper broke the law as it is currently written.

Uninformed posts, opinions, and “2A auditors” do far more damage to the cause than gun owners who expect fellow gun owners to abide by the law.
