what does being poor have to do with violent crime? I grew up without running water and picked up cans with my wife through college. Never committed any crimes let alone violent ones. Made sure we did not have kids until we could afford them and stayed away from bad folks. I doubt any of you have experienced the lifestyle of the reservation my wife came from. Yet we never took welfare, food stamps or any handouts. Still managed to never commit any crimessimple, right?

Don't just imagine it! Look at our aluminum tariffs. There's more money in road side trash picking than theres ever been in our history.Sidebar: could you imagine if students in 2019 could make enough pickup up cans to pay their way through college?

Not sure if such a measurement exists.How many of those are living there by choice?
And yes, "choice" means choosing to work to better oneself so that they could become employed.
