So people here are missing where the OP says:

I previously mentioned the General AT2 "for the money" (and the tread design gives a nice look). But I have to say, if money is no object, Bridgestone and Michelin both make some very good tires...If your budget allows, either of those brands will be nice and quiet on the HWY. I used to have the Michelin M/S on a Jeep and they looked like HWY tires but in snow and even mud they did remarkably well compared to the "look". And of course, the Bridgestone REVO is legendary in the SUV world and I've never heard a bad word about them.

Buy from Discount Tire and get their tire warranty....
The Discount Tire Warranty with free balancing and rotation makes tires last longer and will replace a tire if you have problems with it....
The Discount Tire Warranty has paid for many tires even due to abuse....
We have driven Michelin tires for decades on our 4x4 trucks and 4x4 SUVs.... will not drive any other tire.... Michelins will take abuse and keep on running and do we abuse them....
