Mine came out when I was 4 years old. Don't remember a thing.

I remember a dream I had. I was five when mine came out and it was an alligator in the fountain at Bass hospital coming after me.

had mine out around 12ish, and mine were particularly bad, ended up having to stay in the hospital conked out on morphine overnight. Wouldn't stop bleeding, and the blood draining down upset my stomach, which, coupled with the morphine, made me hurl, which irritated the wounds worse. I was miserable for a few days, took me about a week before swallowing wasn't excruciating. I asked to see my tonsils and they said they disintegrated on the tray when removed, because I had tonsilitis so bad (couple times a year, every year, all my life, thus the reason for the surgery). Don't know why, but they took my adenoids out while they were in there.

So glad that happened when I was young. God, I cringe to think what I would be going through now...

See if your doc will give you a script for 1-2-3 mouthwash. It might help the pain.

I can't really identify with any of these stories... besides still having all of my parts, it sure sounds like the majority of you little girls just need some pamprin and a pillow.

If you were real men like me, you'd have been up the next day running a PFT.

No problem there Shirly... that's childs play when you have enough testosterone to fuel an SR-71 like me.

Last PFT I took in the Marine Corps was the morning after I was hospitalized for food poisoning and took two bags of fuilds. I still ran a perfect 300 with energy to spare.
