Chris did great in the elimination, kudos to him!

Jake just gets worse every single episode. He is so full of himself and out of touch with reality that it's comical now. Speculating on what a great leader he is and comparing himself to Attila the Hun?? Wow...

I agree, though it's made worse and worse by how well he actually performs. He has the potential to systematically eliminate anyone on the blue team in elimination challenges if had come down to that.

Most people with his ability let their abilities speak for them. He's neither that smart nor that humble.

I dont know, I actually give Mike credit for not hitting him in the face, I wanted to do it and he wasn't even in my face. Got to admit it would have been a good fight though, when Mike started getting mad he looked bigger than he normally does. Though Jake has SEAL training, would have been cool to see it play out.

Still think Mike is the better man for controlling himself, you pretty much pinpoint exactly when he wanted to hit him, and then when he realized it wasn't worth it and shut it off. Kind of interesting to watch from a human psyche/behavioral analysis perspective.

I don't know that I agree with those saying many SEALS or highly trained guys are humble. Usually the guys that are humble are humble about their missions and what they have accomplished in the field of battle. Outside of that everyone I have ever met is very confident and sure of themselves in their abilities to shoot/play sports/hunt/et all. They have a "Anything you can do i can do better" attitude. However, challenging a buddy to a game of hoops or billiards and them talking a little friendly trash is very different from what Jake does. Jake takes it to sphincter levels. His is not friendly trash talking in good spirit, his is something totally different. Compare George from Season 2 to Jake in Season 3 for two examples of what I am talking about. No one can convince me he didn't let Chris Reed win the challenge that led to his Season 2 overall victory.

These are of course only my experiences and obviously everyone is different. I have known two SEALS and one guy who is in the CIA who was sent over to the middle east multiple times during these recent conflicts and they are all very confident men. Not what Jake is, but you better believe they will tell you they will wax you at just about anything you challenge them to. It's how they have been trained to be and frankly I prefer it to be that way. When someone in the situations these fellas often find themselves in begins to doubt themselves or their abilities, it could cost them their lives.

Back to Top Shot, I want to see Jake gone in the worst way, don't get me wrong.

I friended Jake on facebook (wow that sounds lame). Seems like an ok guy. He gets a ton of hate mail and seems to handle it well. Even people calling him a ni**** and threatening him. Maybe he just likes putting on a show for the cameras, I dont know. But I hope he goes home soon.

I don't know why you would friend him on FB, but the fact that he accepted your request says something about him.

I don't accept people's requests if I don't know them, whats the point? I think people who do that are either A. Creepin' on girls or B. Trying to get their friend count up so that they can boast how many friends they have on FB...waste.

Meh, seems to me its his "top shot fan page" and not his personal page. Many of the cast members have fan pages. Its fun to interact with people you watch or other fans after each episode and its a way for them to promote themselves. Same way as the whole Sons of Guns or Survivor casts has their own fan pages.

Myself, I have a personal page where Im selective on who I "friend" and a work page where I ad anyone who sends a request. Allows me to promote my work while not having to censor myself. My wife is a realtor and also has 2 pages. Work page where she posts daily tips or just her real estate news and a personal page where she is free to be herself. Welcome to the new technology age my friend.

Will Jake be the first person kicked off the show?

Next week looks interesting.

Tonight was an awesome shooting episode for those of you not liking the drama, this show was an incredibly hard nomination challenge and a very good elimination challenge.

Jake was able to mostly keep his mouth shut this week. Overall great shooting by Gary in the elimination challenge, I thought his shoulder would be a hindrance in shooting anything after all that abuse on the .50 but he still performed.

Was anyone else impressed with how quickly these guys made short work of the .50 moving target at 500 yds? I know I was. Especially Dusty, man is he impressive for being "nobody"
