My big boy has maxed out, I think. He is almost exactly the same size as last year.

I have some good prospects for the coming years if I can just get my daughters to let them walk.

If your daughters are young, let them enjoy the bucks now. If older and have a bunch of deer on the harvest list, encourage them to wait. I always told my son to shoot the first buck or doe he felt he wanted. He could trophy hunt when he was older, I just wanted him to enjoy the experience and hunt with me. Just my two cents.

My soon to be 20 year old already semi-trophy hunts. My 17 year old has about 20 deer under her belt, but nothing bigger than an 8 pt. I never complain about what they shoot. I tell them that it only matters that they are happy with their kill.

11,000 pictures of grass and trees blowing...one picture of a half grown deer. My delete button is worn out.

I’m not taking my tractor up until September, so I can mow and hopefully plant food plots in one trip. I’ve had a problem on two cameras with grass triggering them. I tried weedeating, and it didn’t work. I tried “bush hogging” with my ZTR, and it didn’t work. I ended up having to turn them off through the Spartan app, because like you, I was getting hundreds of pictures of grass. With 5 cameras on my plan, I don’t want a bunch of wind pictures burning up my data.
