I'm somewhat old school in my ammo choices,,,
I carry either a .380 or a 9 mil,,,
I use flat point ball ammo.
I know all about that fear of over penetration,,,
I know that ball ammo does less damage,,,
I just plan to shoot many rounds.
I only own high quality semi-auto pistols,,,
All of them have failed at least twice with hollow point ammo.
I prefer the piece of mind of having reliable performance,,,
If I am carrying a revolver I use nasty/wicked ammo,,,
But for my semi's it's flat meplat FMJ.

Man @Aarond, I sure do agree with you on the part about reliable performance, but I’m curious about these high quality semi autos that have all failed at least twice with hollowpoints...will you divulge? I had a Sig P239 a few years back that would occasionally fail to feed FMJ, regardless of magazines, regardless of brand, and with new stock springs in it. (Notice that I said “had”. Sold it with full disclosure).
