What is the most acceptable caliber for open carry?

"Acceptable"? That's just a bizarre adjective for describing a CC weapon.

But as far as OC, it will be the same as CC - 1911 in .45 ACP, Glock in .357 Sig, Sig in 9mm or J-frame in .38 Special. They are all "acceptable" to me.

I thought the thread was a joke at first. Do we really care what others think about what you carry? Open, concealed...carry what You got and/or meets Your need for a Self Defense pistol.
I don't really care what others think about what caliber I choose to carry. But we need to realize that many on this forum care very much about what other people choose to do. Just look at the opposition on here to open carry. If other folks care so much that they can get upset about how I choose to carry its not much of a stretch to think that they would care equally about what caliber I carry.
Hell they probably care about the color socks I'm wearing too.
