Damn good news @saddlebum !

The dog and I had our last free day as life has known for us. My wife retired today. I am proud of her. 30 years as a RN. Now just one more gauntlet, to see if she can stand my ass 24/7/365! Haaaa!
You'd best be on your best behavior for a few weeks! Don't wanna start this new and important chapter of your lives on bad footing. But don't be too good either!

I have too many to list. I truly am a blessed individual with more riches than I could possibly ask for. But a few highlights were going to breakfast with Mrs. GED after her PT this morning, spending the evening with my grandsons and knowing that God is watching over my family and I

I passed out 10 Benjamin's to 10 different single women with kids.
The reactions I get are heartfelt and it makes me wanna tear up. To me its only $100, to them it's a few more Christmas presents that they would struggled to buy.
Christmas is all about giving, and it fills my heart when a single mom with 2 kids in tow, cries and hugs me with a huge thank you.

went to the Dr for test results and they were good enough that the Doc said we were going to start monitoring me every six months instead of every three months. that's a big win for me
Awesome news

Went to see my Doc today for her 6 month follow up monitoring my blood pressure and lab tests. She looks at all my lab test results, looks at me, shakes her head and says "see you again in 6 months".
Great day

I woke up this morning.
