I've got the stainless laminated stock. Never fired. sold a aluminum boat and decided to invest it in the ruger before i spent it .

Does that have a soft rubber recoil pad on it? If so is that standard on the RSI model or added by the previous owner?

Yes, and its original Ruger.

Saw a stainless laminated model at the Big Show last weekend, they wanted $400 for it with some sort of Simmons scope on it. I really wanted it but for some reason it just didn't feel right, I guess probably because I've never cared for Ruger's green laminated stocks and I wasn't sure what the going rate was on these.

I hope to come across another one some day.
