me, but I tryed to enlist after I graduated and was told my bad knee would keep me out.
I did both, enlist and go to college
Was going to the Coast Guard Academy in New London, but went to SWOSU and then OSU instead. Then got married, so no military for me. I feel strangely out of place now on this forum seeing all the good people who served.

Again, the perception that you can't go to college AND serve in the military rears its ugly head....
not really, i just felt left out.
LOL. No need for that. The military is a great thing but it isn't the end all be all.
