Where can I dispose of ammunition?

I recently bought some 9mm fiochi range ammo and some of the rounds are crimped way too far down in the cartridge to shoot. My dad also picked up some 10mm ammo for me at a swap meet at our gun club and the ammo is really corroded. I don’t want to shoot these rounds and I’m not just throw them in the trash. How can I properly dispose of this ammo? Thanks all!!

You can pull it down for components. If you're not a reloader or comfortable with that, there are probably people here that would take it for the purpose. There are quite a few folks here that load for both calibers that would take that off your hand.

It takes nature decades or more to dissolve it. Poor idea.

Yeah, you're in OKC area. You've got plenty of reloaders around you. Somebody will surely take it off your hands for the components.

Take it to the airport and toss it in the garbage cans out front. It'll give the guys at the incinerators an interesting day.

That's where it came from, what else does the soil have to do but decompose things? lol

Barring giving it to a reloader, check with ranges around you. I've disposed of ammo at H&H and Wilshire before.
