I've been wondering what most guys do. I've been storing mine in the house, but recently built a shop and was wanting to store it out there. Just wondering how the heat and cold would affect it? I figure ammo is store in hot and cold all the time, but don't want to ruin ammo, powder, etc.

We've got two boys, and there room is not all that far from where I store it. If our house caught on fire looks like it would blow! I don't have a ton, but probably 3k-4k of different stuff.

I'm sure Leighton will be by shortly to talk about proper storage of ammo, but as for me, definitely in a climate-controlled environment. Cold won't affect the longevity of ammo, but heat and humidity will.
