:lmfao: :lmfao: While I have read the books, I've not seen any of the movies ... Nor has GC :lookaroun to my knowledge ... lol

However, upon tR doc's recommendation it appears I will be renting the movies this weekend and catching up between sewing on a quilt for friends ... THANK GOD GC works on the weekends right now ... I will be able actually WATCH the movies ... :wink2:

No comments from the peanut gallery, huh? :wink2:

You know it ... that man talks more DURING a movie than he does anytime else ... Good thing I love him ... I just buy him his big thing of popcorn and a Diet DP, have a good stiff drink from my little flask and ... well ... WATCH the movie ... because I sure can't hear it ... :lmfao: (He's gonna KEEEELLLLL me for posting this! LOL)

Sew a Quilt? Please,

LOL ... Yep, I'm almost done with the top your darling bride and I cut out last year ... :lookaroun OK, OK, my NECK was hurting!

Now I have TWO in the works ... One for me and one for a young couple I've adopted ... They are sweet kids! Well, mostly HIS wife is a sweet kid ... I just put up with him because I like his wife! :wink2: (He's a member here ... wonder how long it will take him to find this?? LOL)

Patti, seriously, we probably have most of them here per my daughter, so just call and ask.

Ohhh, thank you sir, but I'll just get them off Directv's on demand feature ... For $4.99 I can watch them and not have to go out in the cold! Brrrr ... I know ... I'm such a sissy when it comes to cold weather ... ;)

BB, you will LOVE them! If you liked the books, the movies did an excellent job, unlike most of the book-to-movie transitions I've seen over the years.

Thankfully, Peter Jackson signed on for The Hobbit, so I expect roughly the same quality.

We still up for this weekend if we make it over that way??

The reviews of the movie are bad to luke warm. I haven't seen any of the movies.
I caint be seein movies all the time. I'm a busy man.

The critics say the Hobbit is a real bring-down.
Do they still have MilkDuds at the movies? I wouldn't mind buying a box of Milk Duds.
