BB, you will LOVE them! If you liked the books, the movies did an excellent job, unlike most of the book-to-movie transitions I've seen over the years.

Thankfully, Peter Jackson signed on for The Hobbit, so I expect roughly the same quality.

We still up for this weekend if we make it over that way??

Ohhhh, cool!!

Yessir, we are ...

Are you kidding me. Tom Bombadil was completely missing. They added characters that never existed in the books. They tried to fit too many of the books into each movie. They should have done one movie for each book.

Yes, Tom was missing, which was the only major part, that I could tell. I still think they did an excellent job...

And there were three books... three movies. At least that's the way I counted them.

Who was created in the movies that wasn't in the books???

LOL ... Yep, I'm almost done with the top your darling bride and I cut out last year ... :lookaroun OK, OK, my NECK was hurting!

Now I have TWO in the works ... One for me and one for a young couple I've adopted ... They are sweet kids! Well, mostly HIS wife is a sweet kid ... I just put up with him because I like his wife! :wink2: (He's a member here ... wonder how long it will take him to find this?? LOL)

If not for the young and kid part I would think you7 were talking about me and wifey. :D

RickN, don't you have a wizard hat and robe?

I do dress up as Santa every now and then, but never hobbits.
