For anyone who turned their CCL papers into Wagoner County Jan 21 or a few days after and have not had had any contact with them lately, you might want to give them a call. I was told that some paperwork sent by them to OSBI was "lost" in the mail for a period of time and there may be a delay. I dropped off info at Wagoner County Sheriff's Office Jan 21. OSBI did not receive my paperwork until Feb 3. It will be a little longer wait than I hoping for.

So...I take it that you're getting used to your LC9?

Yeah, Rumur. I'm getting much better at it. We took off the laser sight, and I can fire it just fine. To me, that laser was more for looks than anything. I think I actually shoot better without it.
My finger was coming up against The laser attachment, when I would pull the trigger.

62 DAYS SO FAR! Seems like forever.

Finished training on Jan 28. Completed and filed my application with the sheriff’s office on Feb 2. OSBI charged my Credit Card on 16 Feb. Still waiting for notification

It's now been 71 days since I turned in my application with the Sheriff’s department and 57 days since the OSBI charged my credit card. I called the sheriff’s office just to check if the license was there waiting. They stated they will call me as soon as they receive it which is the policy here in Comanche county.

I have been reading these forums for a week or so now and finally registered. Turned in my application to Tulsa County Sheriffs Office this morning. Receptionist said they are getting about 25-30 apps a day.

Funny story:

While waiting to be fingerprinted a guy walks in behind me whose hard hearing and says "I'm here for my packin permit" in a really loud tone. The lady behind the counter asks "for what?" and he says even louder "MY PACKIN PERMIT." She responds, oh your SDA? Hilarious!! None the less, the clock starts for me today on 4/20/12!

I got mine today. It took a total of 88 days from the day I turned in my packet to the Quail Springs office until this afternoon when I picked it up at the jail. I called last Tuesday, April 17th and they said it was processed that day. The lady said my letter would be mailed on April 19th. The letter hasn't yet come, but I called the jail and they said the license was in, so I went right down to pick it up.

All in all, it took 90 days, 92 miles of driving and about $300 to exercise my Second Amendment 'privilege' for 10 years.

Picked up my CC today in Wagoner County. 94 days since turning in to Wagoner County on Jan 21st. I was in a group that got "lost" in the mail, paperwork did not reach OSBI until Feb 3rd. 94 days since I submitted. 81 days for OSBI to ck out and get it back. Very happy it is here. We now have a new dress code, "do not leave home without it."
