It's been 65 days Dropped of at Can Co sheriff FEB 2nd. Called Sheriff's Office and was told that its been taking about 100 or so days for license to come in. Very friendly at Canadian County but I was disappointed after reading some people were getting theirs in 60 or so days. I will just have to be patient I guess.

Welcome to "the club", ursharkb8!!

Tell your wife about the forum. There are other women here! It would be nice to hear from more of us. I took the class, and I sent off my application on Feb 9th. I'm waiting not-so-patiently. Checking the mail every day. =)

Got my OSBI letter April 6, 2012 (it was dated March 30, 2012). A total of 79 days from application to receiving letter, but picked up CC license on 68th day at Wagoner County Sheriff's Office after calling them for several days. I'm glad I have it and am getting used to carrying.

I got mine at the 58 day mark and my wife turned her application in 1 week later. I have been telling her to call the Sheriff Dept. for a couple of weeks and she wouldn't do it. She has been anxiously waiting for her letter, but would not call. So she gets her letter yesterday and sees that it was dated 3/30 and decides to make a run to Wagoner to get her permit. As she leaves the house, I call the courthouse and they are closed for Good Friday. Now she has to wait till at least Monday to get her permit. She should have called like I told her. LOL

If I haven't heard anything from them by Friday, I am seriously considering popping into the TCSO office during lunch on Friday and seeing if, by chance, that it's in. I've called once about it. I just don't want to be a pest.
My husband & I have been practicing at the range near the house, and it kinda funny.....I'm a better shot than him.
He fires off that thing so fast, but he's not really aiming. I joked to him the other day that if someone broke in the house, for him to just leave it to me. :)
