For me, it’s a dollars and sense thing. The dollars for a muzzleloader license don’t make sense when I already have an archery license and most of my stands set up at archery distances. The one time I screwed the pooch with a crossbow during ML season was a really “me” problem and not necessarily a crossbow problem.
