New fire reported south of Duncan, west of 81 and north of New Hope Church.

My sister lives 1/4 mile west of church.

Today's winds aren't helping.

That’s for sure, come on rain. I live next to Lake Lawtonka About 5-10 minutes from the Wildlife Refuge entrance. Several folks from our little country church were evacuated. Three planes showed up within an hour or two after it started and were flying low and slow right over my house on their approach to the lake to filler-up. This evening they said 12,000 acres have burned and it’s less than 50% contained.
