Yeah, we use VRBO and/or AirBNB fairly frequently. It seems that a lot of their places are lacking in the "cleaning" department, although we've never had one as bad as yours sounds. It really irks me to pay an exorbitant 'cleaning fee,' and then find all sorts of stuff they missed. They are not as good a bargain as they used to be! They are still inventing more new "fees" to tack on to your bill!

That has a lot to do with why we bought the RV. It's a small RV but we do not have to worry about other people's sh*t. When motorcycle vacationing for several years we always stayed in the Hampton whenever possible. Did the B&B one time and swore NEVER to do that again.
