Winchester 94 Timber mag tube????

I'm looking into modifying my 94 to a parkerized "guide gun" configuration and have a question for any WRA nuts out there. The Timber carbine that came out in 1999 had a shorter mag tube. Exactly how long is that tube and how many rounds does it hold? Any info would be helpful.

According to the Blue Book, it holds 4(30-30) or 8(44mag). 18" barrel but no length given on mag. tube.
