Got the AK and AR10 I wanted today.
Going to put different furniture on the AK when it comes in. Wanted a different color and didn’t want to mess with staining, so I ordered something different. Pretty cool that it came with a sling and a front sight pusher.
The AR10, I swapped the safety selector with a different ambi selector. It did have the Radian Talon 45/90 safety. I swapped the beaver tail grip with a non beaver tail B5 Systems grip. I removed the Magpul XT rail covers and put Knights Armament rail covers on. Waiting on the scope for it to come in. Ordered an Athlon Helos BTR Gen2 2-12x42. Had a lot of good reviews from what I gathered and I didn’t want to spend a ton on an optic yet. The Magpul bipod is also coming off and an Accu-Tac BR-4 G2 will go in its place. Ordered a sling for it as well.
Guess I’ll keep my eye out for a good deal on a Russian SKS now. Kind of wish I would have bought the one listed here not long ago. Maybe someone will have a nice one listed again at some point.
