He was staying with family in that gated community...

TM was Sent there by his mother ,because of disiplinary reasons, to stay with his father and his fathers girlfriend.

(the reasons....fighting in school ,drugs..need I say more)

TM had only been there a couple of days

If he had not decided to cut through a gated community he would be fine today. Most people move into one because they are at least a little afraid of buglers, home invasion, etc.

TM lived in the gated community, he was cutting between houses, short-cutting, with illicit drug making supplys...

See, I just don't understand why you guys open carry? Now it's not going to have an "equalizer" factor. What does OC have to do with this? Zimmerman wasn't open carrying. If he was, maybe that would have deterred TM from assaulting him, maybe not. Can't say because it wasn't part of the equation.

I think the reason Zimmerman continued to follow TM was due to the fact that there had been several burglaries in his gated community. A friend of Zimmerman and his wife, a young women with 2 small kids had been burglarized the month before the shooting and terrified, they had to hide in their bedroom while 2 young black men ransacked the house. The burglars were never caught. The male friend of Zimmerman who testified at the trial said his place had been burglarized a week or so before the shooting. I'm guessing that Zimmerman was fed up with his friends and neighbors being robbed and was trying to put a stop to the burglaries. He didn't want to lose sight of a person who fit the description of the burglars. In a way I can see why he wanted to keep track of where TM went.

sorry if you cannot understand ... two different people can listen to the same recording/video and come up with what both consider "FACTS" and yet be different.

that's one of the basic problem with this case ... two different people listen to someone screaming for help .. some insist it's a fact Z yelling for help .. others insist it's a fact M was yelling for help.

just because Z claims a certain set of things happened makes a fact for some... others NO way...

this does not mean Z is innocent, just that prosecution was not able to prove guilt to Jury. bottom line is the Jury has spoken!
