You would make contact, established. So, since we're doing "what if's" all over these Zimmerman threads, who's to say that's not exactly what Martin did? What if he didn't just hop out of a bush to blindly ambush Zimmerman, what if he walked up and asked why he was being followed? Seems believable. What if he started laying out the beating because he felt threatened and saw it as his only miens of self defense? What if a nervous Zimmerman tried to draw when confronted by such a suspicious person, and Martin thinking he was being attacked hopped on Zimmerman to prevent what he thought would be his bodily harm?

We have no idea what went on. We never will.

Believable? Possibly. Based on Martin's own history and internet posts, I certainly don't find Zimmerman's version less believable. More so in fact. Even if Zimmerman challenged Martin, it's still on Martin if he threw the first punch. That's what the jury believed, even if they did think Zimmerman was an idiot.

At some point the massive throngs of demonstrators will become annoyed at nothing happening. Then they will make it happen. When they turn on and start fighting each other it will give the Baiters their day in the sun...

See, I just don't understand why you guys open carry? Now it's not going to have an "equalizer" factor. Now these punks are gonna see you have a gun and they'll start off by cold cocking you in the nose, kickin' you in the nutz and then start tryin' to take you gun away. Cause they know you'll be too afraid to stand your ground. I guess you guys should start a class called "Surviving the beat down and azz whoppin". Good luck.

No. The wind noises cease shortly after he says "OK". Fast forward to 2:25

Completely consistent with Zimmerman's statements as pointed out by Ayoob on his blog:

"The evidence indicates that he stopped following Martin at that moment. His former rapid breathing returned to normal and wind noise from his phone stopped, consistent with his testimony that he stopped following and had lost sight of Martin."

recording has been out for sometime... but note un-redacted version has not been out for long. after listening it several times. my conclusion right or wrong is that yes Z continued to follow M after dispatch told him "we don't need you to do that"...

which leads to a common problem with a LOT of the evidence released into public media for this case. very little is clear cut and can be interpreted completely different by different folks. note I'm talking about recordings, video, photographs, etc ... not what someone interprets those evidence for us.

the sear mass of evidence released into the public domain is what makes this case different.

link to UN-redacted version a few posts back ...

Even if he did continue to follow him he had a legal right to do so. The dispatcher, as a civilian employee, has no authority to tell him he can't. I listenend to the tape and came to a different conclusion then you. Then their is the troubling aspect of Martin's unrelenting physical attack on Zimmerman. Very troubling.

I recognize you, your the instigator, and you dont read too well, so I'm typeing this slowly so you can understand

Its Not about taking an ass whooping when a young thug, or anyone, jumps you from behind, is smashing your head on
the concrete, trying to take your weapon...thats assault.

Bravado is another word for Bullcrap, Anyone that is carrying a weapon and contemplates taking an asswhoopin is
untrained ....Just leave...risk someone taking your weapon is just ...well stoopid.

Todays young thugs arent interested in The Marquis of Kingsbury rules, they want to cripple, humiliate, then post it on facebook.

To think other wise would be slow or instigatory...now which are You?

You got your response...Loveyameanit

True, I don't read too well, but I know what bravado is and it doesn't have anything to do with bovine feces.

Z-man instigated the the encounter by stalking the kid, I might have had a shown him the fist of fury had he stalked an 18 year old me too and had I realized that he had a gun while I was beating him down I would not have stopped until the threat was incapacitated.

Examples of BRAVADO

His stories are always told with bravado.
I remember his youthful bravado."

Yep you know what bravado is all right.

Tell me when you grow up and learn what lawful self defense is.
