Who all is waiting for their CCW?

I mailed my renewal 4/4/12 and still nothing. Sent the email last week on Thursday and have no reply yet. Renewals shouldn't take flipping 90 days.

Got my response this morning...
"We received your application on 04/25/2012 and currently we are processing about 90 days. If you have not heard from our office by August 10, 2012, then you may contact our office again via e-Mail or by phone at 1-800-207-6724."

I dropped mine off at the Ok County SO on 3/30/12, That means it took 27 days to get to the OSBI.
Day 88 total-62 at OSBI. Looks like another month wait.
Guess I might get it in time for Christmas!

You dropped your app off on March 30th, do you know when your check or credit card cleared? I dropped mine off on April 3rd, and the OSBI credit card charge was cleared on the 10th. So I'm thinking that pushed me back about a week or so. Hopefully!!

I sent mine in maybe 80 days early and went with the 10 year option. Every other renewal has been fairly quick for me, we will see.

Got my reply.

We received your application on 4-9-12 and it is currently taking 60 to 90 days to process an application.

lol the replies are getting shorter and shorter.

I wish they would say "we got it on XX/XX/XX and we are waiting on your background check." or something more specific. I'm not emailing them to see if they have actually had it for 2+ months, I am emailing to see where it is in the process!

Does Stan have an email address so we can document our conversations? It makes absolutely no sense why it should take 3+ months to check backgrounds on people that most likely have next to nothing on them. I was hoping to have it before I traveled to missouri in 2 weeks, looks like theres not a snowballs chance in hell thats going to happen.

Holy crap 28 days for the county, what CRAP is that. This should not take so darned long.
