Years ago, when I was fresh out of high school I enrolled at CSU with a partial scholastic scholarship. I had no idea what I wanted to major in. A counselor put me in a class called Career Planning. We took aptitude tests the whole time. It was worth 1 credit hour and met twice a week.

The grade was solely based on attendance. I got an A. The star freshman running back was in the class with me. I had played against him in junior high. He was starting on his teams high school team and leading the state in rushing as a freshman in high school. He was the career yardage record holder in Oklahoma high schools for years after he played.

He got a C in the class. He was the leading rusher at CSU for years. It was an easy A and he got a C.

He did nothing wrong that I saw but show up for an easy A. I have a feeling about why he didn't play division 1 football. I would bet it was grades.

Keeping good players eligible would be a major headache at any school.

SI claims that everything they are using is from recorded interviews. That should cover their asses. They are just reporting what they got from the interviews. Will they give copies to the NCAA or OSU? They should.

Tramels article today says that Joe DeForest admitted to something improper, hiring players to work at his house without getting approval from the school.

One of the players in the interviews is Artrell Woods who had his carrier ended by injury. Does that hurt his credibility? No. You can't say that he was kicked out for being a drug using thug. He may have been, but that is not why he left.

If all 60 of the ones SI interviewed are disgruntled, drug using thugs that does indicate a problem at least with screening character while recruiting and hiring as some of those interviewed were staff.

Did you see the Aso Pogi story from yesterday on newsok.com? He was giving his account of how Evans has twisted what went down to fit the agenda they had. Pogi also has said numerous times to "Play the tape". He clearly has nothing to hide and I am much more willing to believe a guy that has been an FCA spokesperson and a youth minister for the past 7 years over the guys that got kicked out over failed drug tests.

Here is the story. http://newsok.com/former-oklahoma-state-qb-aso-pogi-denies-players-getting-paid-says-he-was-misinterpreted-in-sports-illustrated-story-in-radio-interview/article/3881376

They haven't released the tapes yet. It may take a lawsuit to get the tapes.

They for sure won't release any tapes until they get everyone to read the whole series of articles. They are trying to get readers and web hits. Just wait. The whole truth may never come out but I am sure that more truth will be known.

That should tell you a lot right there. If they had anything concrete, why would they be waiting to show it? They are losing credibility by the second.
