I have bought over 15,000 or so rounds online from cabelas and midway and stayed around .06 a round shipped. Watch slickguns.com or the in stock thread over at the S&W forum and you will find deals. I got the cabelas CC last year and purchased a lot with free shipping. It is a hassle constantly watching for it (that's why I quit buying it) but it is out there.

Cabelas limits you to one brick, but there are times they post multiple deals at the same time.

It's a damn shame, I've actually read posts where people have sold their guns because of no ammo in the last year and half. Not only does losing that shooter hurt our second amendment rights but we lose their children's generation also. When you consider this is on a national scale, these gougers are systematically eroding the foundation of that constitutional right...without shooters to fight for their rights the anti's will win and we will be a gunless citizenry. The NRA spends all this time and money trying to bring new shooters in to strengthen our second amendment while these gougers drive them out and all while claiming they aren't hurting anyone, it's just business. If their idea of business is actively destroying our second amendment then it appears business is good...sickening.

Most of the .22 cans dont on most .22 pistols. I am convinced that AAC and Ruger got together for the combo of the 22/45 and the Element 2. it looks like a integrally suppressed ruger mkII

Ok kewl, I've personally never seen a silencer that didn't obstruct the sights, but I will be looking that one up. Don't forget the subsonic ammo for that pea popper.

I think things are calming down.

Dick's Sporting goods in MWC had Remington 525 round boxes for $23 and change last night...and still had 'em in stock at 10:30 this morning.

When Walmart still has the stuff in stock for 24 hours, then I'll consider things to be calming down.
