beyond having the day off, i do wonder how many people truly gave two thoughts to ol' Chris on Columbus day. Probably far fewer than people celebrating juneteenth because of what it stood for, but that is just a guess
You would be totally wrong, but thanks for patronizing the moment that never was until the lesbians determined the US should be brought to its knees. I see you have taken yours.

The best part is that you probably were aiming for something insulting there. Lol.

Come on...there was probably a group of Italians in south Philly who celebrated the day. Imagine how sad they would be if the government took away their ability to do so. LOL.

Oklahomans certainly joined those south Philly boys in celebration of the discovery of some of our favorite vacation destinations in the Caribbean. From the Red River to the little Sahara, we gathered around the barbecue and regaled our children with the stories. I can't believe they want to take away our ability to do so.

What date did he discover Oklahoma? We should make that day the actual holiday here and let other states do the same, to commemorate his landing in that location...or some other date that approximates it. Do they celebrate it in the Bahamas or Haiti or anywhere else in the Caribbean? We should do an executive order to make that happen.

Shhh....let's not tell anyone that John Cabot, also an Italian, actually landed in what is know as North America today (possibly even the United States because some think he landed in Maine) but we don't celebrate him because he was sponsored by the British and we didn't want to give any credit to the Brits, so we picked Columbus to lift up as the "hero discoverer" of the Americas.

which, hey, he kinda did i guess. If you don't really think about it too hard or anything.

That's the key. Don't think about facts...gotta go with feelings like the left does.

And once you tell a lie or embellish a story for political expediency, you have to stick with it forever or, you know, all those stories about good old Chris told around the family barbecue grill will be for naught!
