Most cemeteries have a section that they bury people in that cant afford a funeral service and they are usually buried in a wooden or cardboard casket and by federal law you can bury 2 people in the same spot aslong as the first one is buried deep enough to allow the 2nd on top of them.

There are natural cemetery’s where one can be buried in a sheet.
He said if one rented a box that distributed ashes that is expensive to rent, the area the ashes are spread on are exempted from property taxes with proper filing at the county.
Keep in mind I have not verified any of this.
