Hey! What the heck happened this session?

Refresher courses required for renewals and out of state permits no longer valid for carry in Oklahoma for Oklahoma residents (in other words, if you are an OK resident, you must have an OK permit to carry in state).

Did those provisions actually make it? Someone dropped the ball if they did...

I think the out of state permit bill died. The refresher course bill was change to create an online firearms training course for folks applying for their Oklahoma handgun license.

I think HiredHand is correct. Out of state license bill died in committee. Online training course and eliminating misdemeanor drug violations after 10 years to get a license passed. Also, knife preemption (except schools) and auto knife bills passed.
