From what I’m seeing on camera (or more specifically, not seeing), I’m staying home but will probably come up at some point next week. Every mature buck I‘ve had on camera has gone MIA again.
I never posted a harvest result pic from after youth season. That was as of Monday evening so surely most were checked in by then and I'm thinking there probably wasn't much killed on Monday.
You might be a redneck if you get your deer mounted before you fix your truck.
6:55 PM - just saw a nice 8 point with his tongue hanging out chasing a doe all around my front yard. She must be a much better athlete than he because he never got close.

It always amazes me how many deer are killed in some of these counties.

The 20 degree temperature drop from yesterday morning seems to have got the deer up and moving again.

They’ve been moving pretty much all day today on my cameras, so I’d bet they will.
My cell cam caught a doe running by at 1:03 pm this afternoon. At 1:04 pm, my target buck strolled by on her trail. He wasn’t running, but no doubt he was trailing her. I wouldn’t have been surprised by a young buck doing that, but didn’t expect this guy to be out midday on the heels of a doe.
