They are moving pretty good out here. These 2 are 10 yards behind me right now. At daylight I passed on a pretty good 10 point, he looked a little young.
The dove are thick though. Might have to get a hunt in before the 31st
Had a small 6 come in right at daylight looked like he weighed 45lb, tiny little thing. Haven’t seen anything else yet.

Like rats now! 2 little ones laying 10 yards in front of me...I'm trapped!
Same for us in Logan county. Didn’t see any deer or hear any shots. Checked cameras and had the 3 same does most days and a small 8 once at midnight.
I’m hopeful it picks up for us as it’s been a lot slower than last year so far.
We have properties around me that have been vacant all year save for filling of the feeders and cameras kind of things. Last Friday morning, the trucks were parked on those places. Funny to me that they show up on kids opening day but i didn't see any kids. Plenty of grown men though. And inside city limits where firing a rifle is illegal anyway.
I've got game cam pictures of 7-9 does, 2 little ones in spots and three different bucks that always show up one at a time with the does. But.... They always show up between the hours of 10:00 pm and 1:00 am. Never any earlier and never any later.
