I have a Smith & Wesson 629 4" that I bought new in 1981. Have shot many thousands of rounds through it without a hiccup. The soft Hogue grips help a lot. Have taken critters from bobcat to turkey to hog to whitetail. Can't go wrong with a Smith.

I have the super Redhawk. Shooting my reloads that slightly flatten the primer will let one know what recoil in a handgun is all about. The factory loads don't even come close.

The S&W N-frame is hard to beat and nothing wrong with Ruger but much to my surprise, I kinda like the new S&W M69. Even though it's only 5 shot and is on the L-frame, it's not bad.
