Another update. It wasn't water that killed my computer. Took the computer out and opened it up. Leaking capacitors which is a common problem. O'Reilly's can order a new computer it sounds like.

I will try to use YouTube and solder on new capacitors at some point.

Interestingly enough, this computer has a sticker showing it was a Ford remanufacture in 2015. Didn't even last ten years. To me this is a good case for a carb conversion.

My fan blower went out on my 90. Figured out why just now. Plug melted. Hope I can find another pigtail. If not I can jumper the wires I think and at least have high speed fan for now.

Now the clutch is also making a noise. I think the throw out bearing isn't putting enough pressure on the pressure plate fingers. On these I believe the throwout bearing is supposed to have a few pounds of pressure on the pressure plate. No clearance. Always something with this thing.

That thing is fried. Most likely, the blower shorted out and backed the plug. That plug is available, just going to take lots of splicing to get it up and running again.
Yes. About to order the plug. Apparently resistance builds up there and over heats them. It burned up the switch too but the truck actually came with a new one in the glove box.

For anyone with one of these, when the switch gets hard to operate, it's because it's melting inside. That's a good sign it's about to be a problem.
