I will pass that on to some folks that want my ammo (for last year's prices LOL).
Do they have the ammo back at the gun counter? I heard that back in the .380 panic some years ago they had what ammo they could get at the customer service counter.

It's all been back by the gun counter.
If you show up before open, you'll get in line and wait for them to unlock the doors. The line will head straight back to the gun counter where associates will be waiting to help you out.
After the opening rush, whatever they have left will hit the shelves.....except for the stuff they keep in the safe for people purchasing firearms.

Kurt, I found a boatload of 7 and 8 in 2-3/4" 12ga at Academy in Edmond last week, but that was the ONLY shot size they had... there was no - NO - #4, 5 or 6.

that is probably a sign the run on ammo is subsiding
there is actually plenty of ammo being shipped from the factories
problem is the toilet paper crowd buying all they can afford and cleaning the shelves
if people would just relax and don't be selfish pigs there would be plenty for all again

The potential problem is, if the supply doesn’t surpass demand before too much longer... I’m afraid to see what laws/taxes may be placed on ammo with the new POTUS in place. I’m sure that’s part of what is fueling the surge, but still.

1 good thing has come from this shortage, my wife has made it clear that we need to add a few more calibers to the house to increase our odds of finding factory ammo during the next run the on supplies.
