I knew we had some reason to bring them into the big 10 err 12... with 10 members.Good point - I had HEARD somewhere that OK was the only state where not a single county voted blue, but you're right, that map looks like WV was the same.

National Socialists vs. Communists in the 20s - and that's where "Antifaschistische Aktion" started. They were Bolsheviks, and are actually acting just like the Bolshevist street thugs in Germany in the 20s.The Nazis were socialist too and these punks are sure acting like the SS.
For the Navajo's, it represents good fortune and health. We call it the "whirling logs." It is a story about a young Navajo leaving the tribe during a great sickness. During his rafting, the water broke up his raft and make that symbol. He was sucked into another world, fought monsters, and brought the cure back to the tribe. As you can imagine, many of the elders are starting to wear the whirling log symbol again, especially during this pandemic, which has hit the tribe very hard. It’s also interesting that in some cultures it’s a religious symbol and also depending on which way it’s facing can have different meanings. There’s an older house near the stockyards that has the Swastika built into the brickwork facing the street. I’d love to know the history of that old house.

On Hwy 99 North of Hominy is an old Osage Indian house with this symbol built into the brick entrance. The tribes used this symbol way before the Nazi's in Germany did.
There is a house down the street from me that has tiles on the front of it containing swastikas. It was made in the 1920's before the symbol was taken by the Nazis. I hope they don't ever remove them as it is really interesting to see them.
