- If you read through things I've posted (rather than the replies of others to what I have posted) you will see that mostly the only items I've railed against being openly available to anyone and everyone fall pretty much just into the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) category, ergo, grenades, rocket launchers, fully automatic weapons, (machine guns), flame-throwers, and a few others.
- Even when I say that I don't want my (usually drunk or high) gang-banger neighbor to have something like an HBMG .50 cal M2, a Glock G-18, or a box of fragmentation grenades, there is always, unfortunately, someone that invariably starts screaming that I'm anti-2A, or a 'liberal', or a Commie, or some other undesirable that just wants to take everyone's guns away. These people sorely need to grow-up and ask themselves whether, if they had a 'gang-banger' living next to them (keeping in mind that I live in an apartment community), would they be comfortable with that person having Glock-18's or grenades? I think not.
- I've lived in situations like that before (not with grenades but with Uzi's) and it's stressful to say the least, never knowing if/or when those drunk or high idiots are going to start punching holes through your walls.

Put it to rest folks. Again (for like the 100th time) I'm not anti-2A, nor am I of the belief that everyone should be able to have anything they want. Like most others here I believe that some people simply shouldn't be able to have some things - THAT does not make me anti-2A, a Commie, a liberal, a ***, a democrat, or any other ****-tag people seem to love to label others with.
And what I’m saying is there should be absolutely no governing body to legislate a law to prevent anyone from owning defensive tools.

As for WMDs, explosives, and big scary automatics, what I’m saying is that they only exist because people like you perpetuate the state and continue to allow it to exist in the vain hope that they can force some of their beliefs and ideas on their neighbors through it, and that it will protect them in return for their allegiance. Take away the real problem (for everyone) and most weapons of war would disappear as well. Most guys on here don’t buy ARs for self defense from a home invasion or a mugging, it’s to defend themselves against the state.

As for the gangbanger neighbor, I know it’s not always simple, but you have 1 realistic option: move.
If big brother wasn’t there to step in, all you’d have to do to take care of the gang banger is, well, take care of him. In one way or another, depending on the situation. And your other neighbors would help you, too, because it would be for their good as well.

Wow... I just heard the NRA is trying to join the Mock v Garland lawsuit and has also asked the court for injunctive relief for their members nationwide. I guess it's a good thing... But where have they been for the past year?

I'm a NRA Benefactor Life Member but I've not supported the organization in years because of the infighting and corruption of the leadership. They're also far too willing to compromise away my 2A rights.

So, it's about time, NRA, you did something positive for your dwindling number of supporters and members.

If they do, it’s only because they see it has traction. I have always looked at the NRA in a negative way. Several years ago they sent me an offer to join and get a real cool range bag. I joined bag never came. I reached out via email, no response. Never again.
I rarely see their name where it counts if any. It’s kinda like they are your hype man when in a fight. They stand in the very back “yeah gettem” then when the opponent is on the ground that’s when they ‘may’ come and kick them, but then expect to get paid. I wonder how their memberships are with my generation and younger?
