I know you told me it was ugly but that is disgusting. I can't even imagine how bad it was before the camo. I am impressed you got it so light though.

Yo momma!!!

I can't tell in the pic, what are those units? 414.7 ____??
Also, what's the weight on your barrel including the gas block?

Thanks for the link.

And yes, it's ugly aeropb, but in a practical type way.

414.7 = 4lb 14.7oz

The barrel was 1lb 8oz -ish

I'm just glad that I was able to get to my goal using all standard parts and some elbow grease - no high-dollar "titanium" or "carbon fiber".

Thanks. My 16" is a pig, so I've been looking into doing something lighter, so this is an interesting discussion to me.

And is that 1lb 8oz for stripped barrel, or with that GB? That gas block looks like a heavy one, might be able to cut more off using something else there. Also, what is the final diameter of the barrel? And did you turn it down yourself?

From what I can find, a standard 16" lightweight profile barrel is in the 24oz neighborhood stripped already, so I'm curious how much you're really saving.
