Armalite AR 180B, tell all you know.

I know nothing about the B model, but opened one of the early 80's production models. Liked the folding stock. Didn't care much for the sheetmetal receiver. Shot a couple thousand rounds through it, and traded it for a Siamese Mauser with a McGowan barrel in 45-70. Barrel was too whippy, couldn't hit a paper plate at 50 yards no matter what we did... if you like the AR15 you'd probably like the AR180. The side folding stock will let you shoot from the hip, or shoot it as a pistol but only shooing from the hip is easier. They're ****Ed heavy for one hand shooting unsupported.
