What about a 9MM rifle? Keltec sub 2000, I think someone makes a copy of the sten in 9mm, I think there is a ppsh semi auto in 7.62x25, these should all be fun and cheap to shoot

oh yeah a Finnish Suomi in 9mm you can get them from J&G sales or centerfire systems

I'm a big fan of the HK-91/FAL type assault weapons....lots of fun with mild recoil. Bull pups can become an addiction also.

You don't see the lifers calling themselves "anti-bodily-choice", do you? Or the choicers call themselves "pro-baby-murder", do you? They correct the other side EVERY TIME when the other side tries to label them with a bogus label deemed to be unfair and inaccurate. We must do the same and not let anyone use a bogus term against us and fall right into their trap. That's true whether the BATFE adopts BS language or not, along with the anti-freedom forces. These are "homeland defense rifles", "semi-auto sporting rifles", or any number of other options; they are neither "assault rifles" nor "assault weapons", if they're not select-fire.

They are if one chooses to call them such. So quit pretending to be smart.
The anti's don't view the gun any different than they did and they know not to try to rehash it. Regardless of shoulder things that go up, magazine round count, blah blah blah, the people (majority) have spoken. So the term is superfluous.

And just for you, any time I am talking to fence riders or "newbs", Im going to add assault to all my guns. Assault 1911, Assault Glock, Assault Deer Rifle.

I would say that the rifle is only an assault rifle if it is used to assault something/someone. If i had a rifle it would only be for shooting targets, therefore it would be a target rifle.
