That state is worse than Cali. The state police are the gestapo. Do not question their authority. You will find out you are not a citizen there, you're a subject. They do not care about Federal laws or regulations and will do whatever they want until they get called on it, then it's just "oh sorry, didn't mean to get carried away." Then back to business the following week.
And good luck finding a lawyer there that will represent you against them. MOST of them know that the State Police force and most of the judges are friends. Hell, I've shot archery and hunted with a lot of them. You piss off a judge and you'll never win another case in most courthouses again. It's really a shame how the whole institution crumbled over the years.
