It's funny how the talk about Bass Pro is over priced and poor service yet when a lot of people have generally good service somewhere else the comment is about overpaying.
Which is better, crappy service that pisses you off to the point where you have to go to a forum to rant about it with other people who agree that the place has generally crappy service or paying a little extra to get some help? How many people go in to H&H and get help and only window shop? I believe the people there are on a commission system which generally makes salespeople pushy and rude once they find your not buying TODAY
Bass Pro probably should fix their employees but so should a lot of other places.
It's BASS Pro, not GUN Pro. Gun Dept sux, Sir LeansA- Lot should be fired, have complained to Mgr about the crap service twice and have not darkened their doors since. Academy in Lawton is pretty good, in WF is even better. Murph's is more knowledgeable and great service.
Yup I remember that. Was kind of scary actually. Why a lot of folks bring backup when dealing with new members.
A side note. I do like the store. I buys lots of other things there. Just avoid chain gun counters for info.

I believe that there was some question as to the validity of events as he recounted them ...One of the best times GC and I have ever had doing a deal, and it wasn't even our deal, was when TCox and his gal met some kid at BassPro. GC was working nights then so Tanner just set it for 7 in the morning and GC came by in his patrol car (it was on the way home for you dolts wanting to scream "misuse"
) ... Poor kid was terrified when he saw all of us standing around talking when he pulled up. BTW, the IHOP down in Bricktown is a GREAT place to eat breakfast ... Like I said, we had a GREAT time!
