Threadjack: can anybody give suggestions in greater OKC for a place with sauce that *isn't* cloyingly sweet? To give you an idea of my taste, when I cook at home, I start with Selmon Brothers (less sweet than most), then add apple cider vinegar to take it further, and a bit of good bourbon to balance.

I like bedlam bbq north of the capitol on lincoln. Bad brads in yukon isnt bad. The new swadley's in mustang is also pretty good.

When I worked in the state capital area, Bedlam BBQ was my favorite when I had a hankering. Since I used to live between Yukon and Mustang, I would totally agree with the Bad Brad's recommendation as I haven't found anything in the Tulsa area to match or beat BB's. As to Swadley's, I guess they came along after I moved but my experience w/Swadley's @ Quail Springs was not good so I don't bother going there. Go to Leo's to get the strawberry-banana cake along with your BBQ. Among the chains, the only one I cared for was Earl's.
