Best BBQ in Okc

When I worked in the state capital area, Bedlam BBQ was my favorite when I had a hankering. Since I used to live between Yukon and Mustang, I would totally agree with the Bad Brad's recommendation as I haven't found anything in the Tulsa area to match or beat BB's. As to Swadley's, I guess they came along after I moved but my experience w/Swadley's @ Quail Springs was not good so I don't bother going there. Go to Leo's to get the strawberry-banana cake along with your BBQ. Among the chains, the only one I cared for was Earl's.

Yeah I totally agree with you. I had my reservations about the swadley's in Mustang after eating at the one at quail springs (it really sux) but the one is mustang is pretty good their ribs are especially tasty. Swadleys has been in Mustang less than a year.

I'm not sure if OKC has a Famous Dave's but the one in Tulsa is excellent.

Swadley's is still around? The one in Moore and S OKC closed, so I am surprised they opened a new one in Mustang.

If you're cComing to Norman and want better BBQ than Van's try Ray's Smokehouse on Lidsay near McGee. I pretty much won't eat at a BBQ place other than there anymore. Bad Brads is excellent as well.

Can't speak for their entire menu, but when I went to Ray's they served me some of the worst sausage I've ever had at a BBQ joint. I was basically Eckrich sausage. I won't be back that's for sure.

I eat at Bad Brads now and then, because it is close to my house. I think Swadley's in Bethany is alot better. I still think that I have the best BBQ that I have eaten. LOL. I have heard that from many people after we sold our BBQ joint. I think people have different taste in BBQ. Which one is the best, depends on what you like. I can't wait to try DanB's BBQ. I am still waiting on my invitation. LOL
