Ok, I have lived here for a few years now and I don't have a go to BBQ place. Oklahoma is supposed to be known for their BBQ, so I'm looking for some suggestions. I've had the usual Earls, Rib Crib etc. Looking forward to trying some new places.

If you want some good BBQ at a great price and you're in Moore try the BBQ stand in GFF Foods at NW 12th & Sante Fe. They've got some really good BBQ, and there is a Swadley's at SW 89th & Western that is really good as well.

Spencer's BBQ on N.E. 23rd and post is good. Van's in shawnee is pretty tasty as well.

Spencer's gets my vote for the worst BBQ. The only redeeming quality is the fritters.

My experience with Billy Sims has been limited to just the pulled pork. And on that experience alone, it is my current number 1 BBQ restaurant.

Swadleys is good but it used to be better. They changed some stuff up including the buns and it hasn't been the same since.

And iron star is meh. It's good if you're a fan of mac and cheese that tries too hard.

I think Swadleys has the best, most consistent ribs in the metro and their brisket is always great. I haven't had any mediocre BBQ there yet.
