If it was worse that what I had a Dickie's it must have been really bad . . . :)
Ill see you both and raise you one Bad Brads. Aptly named I might add. Honestly, if I'm meeting someone for BBQ, I just go to Earls. While it's not fantastic food that would make you drool just thinking about it, I've never gotten anything that was terrible there. Well, the near frozen deviled eggs, but that's not BBQ.

I haven't eaten at Brad's in a long time. I've tried both places in Pawhuska and Stillwater. But that was almost 20 years ago. It wasn't horrible at the time.

We ate at Bad Brads in Yukon last night. It was pretty decent!

Tried Texlahoma in Edmond. My wife ordered their Havana sandwich and I ordered their two meat dinner with brisket, pulled pork and had the Mac & Cheese with fried okra sides.

Wife’s sandwich was good. They should have used a better bread like a pressed panini and it would been a great sandwich.

My dinner … the portions were small. The pork was kettle cooked and then seared. Lacked flavor. The brisket was good and better than the pork but not great. Could not detect any smoke rings. The Mac & Cheese was OK and slightly better than grocery store products. The Okra was really good. No slimey texture and a good crisp bite.

Their BBQ sauce was disappointing. I would take anything off a grocery store shelf over their sauce.

Scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being best … I would give Texlahoma a 4. I doubt I go back.
