Yes, they are screened by asking a simple series of questions like do you have Covid symptoms? A simple no answer gets that box checked and they move to the next person with a clipboard until they are given a free biden phone and a free airplane ride to their destination of choice, or just dropped off in the middle of the night to make it on their own in some small town airport.
You’re correct in that if they are showing obvious symptoms they are cut out of line and given free medical treatment.
Ellis Island was our early European immigrant port where the sick, lame and lazy were put back on the same ship they came across the pond in to be returned to their native country unlike the debacle currently happening on our Southern border where all are welcomed.
We don’t need nor want a country of illegal aliens that are overwhelming our social systems, and schools meant for Americans or legal immigrants.
We want legal immigrants that have gone through the legal process in this country because they have a skill and can actually assimilate and contribute a meaningful skill.
Americans cannot take up residency in most foreign countries unless they can prove they have the ability to support themselves for the entire time they are living there. One example is Panama. You have to submit to a background check and put around $10,000 in a Panamanian secured account before they let one move and live there.
We currently have over 4 million illegally entering this country in the last two years with an estimated half million got-aways without a dime in their pockets.
As far as I’m concerned along with the majority of this country, we don’t want nor need the illegals.
