I remember in the 60's when we lived one block from a burger joint on Tuesdays you could get 5 hamburgers for $1.00........I miss those days

Why would an ad like that get banned? Not much different than everyday TV certainly less foul words used. Not much different than some of the grade school textbooks.

Sparky's in Ok or White Castle on the east coast was the 5 for a buck I remember.

I didn't look up the date, but was it after the Jackson wardrobe malfunction debacle when the censors clamped down on sexy advertising?
